Expenditure Items for International Overnight Visitors

Expenditure by items from the IVS.

NOTE:
Expenditure at the region level does NOT relate to expenditure in the region.  It represents expenditure on items during the trip.  For example, expenditure item “Airfares” for the Sydney region represents the total trip expenditure on airfares for overnight visitors to Sydney. Other expenditure on trip includes miscellaneous trip expenditure such as postage, film processing, medical expenses and dry cleaning. Totals exclude expenditure on the purchase of motor vehicles. All figures relate to Australian residents aged 15 years and over.
